THIS EDITION

Jaw, Tongue & Face
Touching Into Softness, Voice &
Inner Ease

June 24, 2026 - July 15, 2026
Live & Guided Online

Awaken the intelligence of your jaw and the subtle pathways it opens through face, breath, and nervous system. In this four-week exploration of self-touch, somatic awareness, and mindful movement, you’ll soften habitual holding, nourish the jaw, face, and throat, and reconnect with the natural ease that emerges when the body feels safe to express.

Through gentle release techniques, facial reflexology, breath, and nervous-system–informed movement rituals, we’ll explore the jaw as a key regulator — a threshold between emotion, voice, and inner orientation.

Whether you’re seeking relief from clenching, grinding, headaches, or facial tension, longing for freer expression and clearer breath, or simply wishing to live with more softness and regulation, this program offers a grounded, embodied path to ease, expression, and inner steadiness.

Why the Jaw Matters

The jaw isn’t only a joint — it is a holding place for stress, emotion, and unspoken tension.

Every day we clench and brace:

✓ when we hold back words
✓ when we endure without expressing
✓ when stress settles into the face and neck

Over time, this tension doesn’t stay local — it shapes how you breathe, speak, and regulate.

Unreleased jaw tension can show up as:

✓ jaw clenching or grinding
✓ headaches and neck tightness
✓ restricted breath and shallow breathing
✓ limited emotional expression
✓ pelvic floor tension
✓ a nervous system that stays on high alert

In this course, we'll explore:

Somatic Jaw, Tongue & Facial Release
Precise self-touch, tongue awareness, facial reflexology, and gentle release techniques to soften tension in the jaw, tongue, face, neck, and throat while supporting circulation, mobility, and ease.

Jaw, Tongue Awareness & Emotional Regulation
Practices to sense subtle holding patterns in the jaw and tongue, work with these structures as gateways to nervous system regulation, and create space for freer breath, voice, expression, and emotional processing.

Movement, Voice & Integration Rituals
Slow, nourishing movement sequences inspired by somatic practice, dance, and Gyrokinesis, combined with gentle vocal and tongue-based explorations to integrate release, support posture, and invite greater ease, vitality, and self-expression throughout the face, throat, and upper body. This highlights the tongue not as an afterthought, but as an essential part of the jaw–throat–voice–nervous system connection that is central to your work.

Weekly Schedule

Practice with me each week and build strength while deepening your relationship with yourself and your body. Each class is offered online at 6 PM (CET/ Berlin time), and you don’t need any equipment other than a stool. Each 75-minute session includes time for Q&A, making space for all your questions.

  • Introduction to Multi-Facial Reflexology: Understanding Dien Chan

We kick off by exploring the foundation of multi-facial reflexology and the Dien Chan system. You'll learn the structure of the face and how different zones correspond to the body’s overall health, setting the stage for targeted healing and deeper connection through facial touch.

  • The 8-Zone Facial Lymphatic Massage: Releasing Tension & Promoting Flow

This week, we focus on the 8-zone facial lymphatic massage sequences for the face and neck. Using specific touch techniques, you'll learn how to stimulate lymphatic drainage, reduce puffiness, and promote a healthier, more radiant complexion, while fostering relaxation and emotional release.

  • The Jaw & The Tongue: Unlocking its Importance and Connection to the Whole Body

We dive into the jaw, understanding its role in both physical tension and emotional expression. You’ll learn techniques to release tension and open the jaw, followed by a full-body exploration of how the jaw connects to the neck, shoulders, and spine, fostering balance and ease throughout your body.

  • Facial Movement Tools & Massage Sequences: Deepening the Release

In our final session, we combine facial massage sequences with movement tools, integrating carrier oils to enhance the healing process. You’ll learn the most common and effective sequences for maintaining facial health, releasing emotional tension, and promoting long-term self-care.

Osteopathy x Self-Touch: Precision Meets Embodiment

This course blends the precision of osteopathic insight with the intimacy of mindful self-touch. Osteopathy gives us a deep understanding of structure and nervous system regulation, while self-touch practices help you feel into that structure, release holding, and learn to respond with nuance and presence. Together, they create a path of embodied ease — a process that is both grounded in anatomy and rich in felt experience.
